What is a Custom Rom?
It is a version of your android device, but with modifications, that
is, without unnecessary applications that come along with your terminal
when you first buy it.
And they could come with things that you do not find in common cell
phones and could even have characteristics that only other terminals
have.
Benefits:
- Android version: If your device is no longer updated to a recent android version, the solution could be found in a Custom Rom.
- Performance: It may not contain applications that do not work and even improvements that you do not find in normal cell phones.
- Root: If you are a medium advanced user and you like to take advantage of and experiment with your cell phone, the pre-rotated roms will be your favorite.
Disadvantages:
- You lose your guarantee: And, when you modify your cell phone and maybe due to lack of experience or recklessness you can not fix it, your cellular company will not want to repair it due to the loss of the guarantee.
- Stability: For being unofficial Rom, you must be aware of the updates for your terminal, because being free developers who generate these roms, they are correcting these roms little by little.
